The MEINL Headliner Designer Series Djembes are a great all-around lug tuned djembes, perfect for drum circles and spontaneous jam sessions. One of the newest models comes in our trendy Army Issue Finish (HDJ600AI).

The djembe is equipped with 8 mm strong tuning lugs, 2 mm rounded rims, original MEINL style tuning brackets, black powder coated hardware, hand selected goat heads and a tuning key.

A specially designed hihat - just for cajon players!

That´s our new 10" percussion hihat (CA10PH) which can be played by hand or with lighter sticks. The top is extremly thin for a fast, controlled response.

Recommended for use with the MEINL Low Hat.

new product of the day: X-LARGE AFRICAN TALKING DRUM

MEINL African Talking Drums are carved into a hourglass shape from a solid piece of Mahogany wood, and decorated with a carved motif. The newest model (ATD-XL) is about 9" x 20". Two hand-selected goatskin heads are spanned with high-quality nylon rope. Traditionally, the talking drum is played beneath one arm, and held against the ribcage. The drum is then squeezed to "bend" the pitch while the other hand employs a curved striker.
